SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE |
Nicholas
Meletiou formed his Practice in the early Eighties and started his
first Contract at the
Queens Club, where he has been continuously involved since completing
various projects on this site, amounting to around £10 Million. His
clients in the Tennis fraternity include the Lawn Tennis Association,
The International Tennis Federation, The Queens Club, The all England
Club at Wimbledon and Surrey County Lawn Tennis Association.
He
has also participated in Seminars and lectured on the Design of Hotels
and also on the Design Principles for the creation of Small Communities
in the EEC.
He has
been responsible for the Design and Development and Implementation of a
wide variety of commercial, residential and leisure projects in the UK
, Middle East , Russia , Greece , Cyprus Spain and other countries,
including masterplans for projects in Portugal and Malta .
A
number of Tourist Villages and Hotels designed by his Practice have
been constructed in Cyprus including 2 Tourist villages in Paphos with
a capacity of 148 & 223 Appartments respectively and a 260 Bedroom
4-star Hotel in Paphos. Their designs for Tourist, Leisure and Hotel
Projects range from an 88 Appartment Tourist Village in Corfu costing £3 Million to a £50 Million Tourist and Leisure
Development in the Algarve in Portugal.
In
addition to his Leisure Projects and Tennis Centres he has designed the
New Cyprus Racecourse a number of small to large Residential
Developments ranging from 8 Houses to 156 Apartments and to this date
he has designed more than 3,000 Residential Units.
His
list of Commercial Projects includes Showrooms, Hypermarkets, Offices
and Shopping Centres ranging in value from £0.5m to £35m.
Designs
have also been produced for Religious Buildings, with certain projects
being implemented - Byzantine Churches, Chapels and extensions to
Monasteries.
He has also
been involved in the Design of Museums and Refurbishment and
Conservation.
